This role will offer you the following daily challenges:

This position is a hybrid role that will provide oversight of both cost associated with non-labor and labor as well as material management responsibilities.
Performs a variety of cross-functional administrative and analytical tasks to ensure coordination of material with manufacturing production plans and schedules.
Will include overall FBM material management and metrics status that will be reported to leadership.
Sets up cost control system, monitors and controls costs and schedules for Supply Chain Labor and Non-Labor.
Performs analyses and prepares reports in order to ensure that Supply Chain is performing to our financial sales goals and non-labor baseline.
Prepares budgets and performs and/or assists in financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlook, and variance analysis.
Interacts with internal customers and outside suppliers regarding production planning, material flow, problem resolution, and production improvement.
Conducts analysis and develops information using a cross-functional MRP system.

Basic Qualifications

To be successful, you will need to possess these basic qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education,

8+ years of professional experience,

Previous professional experience developing multiple sets of metrics and dashboards that represent Supply Chain health in Material Management, Supply Chain sales, MRP analytics, Schedule analysis,

Previous professional experience with Cost Account Management,

Experienced presenter to Program Management and Customer representative,

You will need to be a US Citizen, and be able to obtain and maintain a US DoD SECRET clearance, to support this government contract, as well as successfully pass a drug and background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Desired skills

To be successful, ideally, you should also have:

Bachelor’s degree with 10 years of professional Supply Chain and Cost Account Management experience,

Prior professional experience with Data Management, frequent use, and general knowledge of industry practices, techniques, and standards,

Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with an ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and changes in deadlines,

You bring positivity and enthusiasm to every project you touch. In addition to the work, you love being part of a team and working collaboratively through the process,

Possess effective relationship-building skills with peers, leadership, and suppliers,

Proven exceptional strategic communication skills, both written, verbal, and presentation, to effectively communicate business cases to all levels of peers, suppliers, as well as program and executive management, with an ability to persuade and motivate action.

Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
